On October 20, "Hello Silk Road - Photographic Works Exhibition for the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative" was held at the Hanwei International Art Center in Beijing. Hundreds of outstanding photographic works were unveiled to show the achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative over the past ten years. The economic and social development and historical and cultural features of the country, as well as the sense of gain and happiness of the people of various countries in the process of jointly building the "Belt and Road".

This exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Silk Road Planning and Research Center and the Central News Documentary Film Studio (Group), and co-organized by Hebei Xinwuan Iron and Steel Group Wen'an Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. It aims to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the successful holding of the third “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit Forum.

With the theme of "Hello Silk Road", the exhibition selects 100 excellent works from a large number of photography works submitted by the media, enterprises and front-line builders, with the themes of "Road to Peace", "Road to Prosperity" and "Road to Civilization". The three major units of "Road" are on display. Through the microscopic perspective of photography enthusiasts, the historical moments of various enterprises participating in the great initiative of "One Belt and One Road" and practicing the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind are concretely, vividly and multi-dimensionally displayed.

Wen'an Steel Party Committee Secretary Wang Wen'an and Chairman Wang Lei were invited by the Silk Road Planning Institute to participate in the photography exhibition and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Wang Lei said that after the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed, Wen'an Steel actively responded to the national call and strived to become the promoter, promoter and practitioner of the "Belt and Road". In 2016, the Malaysian state of Sarawak, located on the island of Kalimantan on the "Maritime Silk Road", attracted the attention of Wen'an Steel with its superior geographical location, good natural conditions, warm and hospitable humanistic traditions and transparent and pro-business policy environment. After careful investigation and research, Wen'an Steel decided to invest in the construction of a 10-million-ton green intelligent steel-coke comprehensive enterprise in Samararu Industrial Park, with a total investment of more than 20 billion yuan. Although it has been blocked by the epidemic for three years, Wen'an Steel's overseas investment has never stopped. The 8 square kilometers of factory site leveling work has been completed and project construction is proceeding in an orderly manner. The company will seize the favorable opportunity of market recovery, accelerate the construction progress, and build a high-end, intelligent, green and modern steel enterprise in Malaysia to serve the local society and contribute to the traditional friendship between China and Malaysia.

Wang Lei emphasized that as a beneficiary of reform and opening up and a participant in the market economy, Wen'an Steel has deeply felt the prosperity and development of the country in its nearly 30 years of entrepreneurial development, and is also proud of the strength of the motherland. This photography exhibition It is a true record and careful presentation of this great achievement. It is a summary and publicity of ten years of construction. It adds a rich and colorful touch to the "meticulous painting" of the "Belt and Road" towards intensive cultivation.
