In the end, Wen'an Steel's overseas steel investment project settled in Sarawak. Although it has been blocked by the epidemic for three years, Wen'an Steel's overseas investment has never stopped, and project construction is proceeding in an orderly manner.

Wang Wen'an said that the company will seize the favorable opportunity of market recovery, accelerate the pace of construction, and build a high-end, intelligent, green and modern steel enterprise as soon as possible to serve the local society and contribute to the traditional friendship between China and Malaysia. Deputy Prime Minister Tengah thanked Boon Steel for its contribution to the economic and social development of Sarawak, and expressed praise for Boon Steel's spirit of overcoming the difficulties of the epidemic, remaining true to its original aspirations, and being determined to build a modern steel enterprise. At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Tengah also said that the Shazhou government will continue to support the local construction of Wen'an Steel and help solve problems existing in the construction. He hopes that the steel plant will be completed and put into operation as soon as possible. During the meeting, Gao Wei, Wen'an Steel's director in charge of overseas projects, reported on the construction progress and follow-up plans, and the two parties had a cordial and candid exchange.

After the meeting, the two parties exchanged gifts. Many officials from the Sarawak Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Regional Corridor Development Authority, and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority attended the meeting.
